As of October 2021, Ahrabhi Kathirgamalingam (Praedoc) studies the discursive construction of racism in media and its dynamics over the last 30 years. Previously, she completed her Master's degree in Journalism and Communication Studies at the University of Vienna and worked as a student research assistant for Hajo Boomgaarden in the Computational Communication Science Lab. As a board member of under.docs, she contributes to the organization of the annual conference for young researchers in the humanities and social sciences.
