Fabienne is a research associate (post-doc) at the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna. She serves as the Austrian MC member for the COST Action Opinion and is also associated with the H2020 project OPTED. Since 2024, she collaborates with Dr. Florencia García-Rapp on a work package focused on studying political emotions in social media communication within the H2020 project CIDAPE. 

Her research areas include quantitative methods with a focus on quantitative text analysis, comparative research and political communication. She gained her Master's degree from the University of Vienna in 2017 with a thesis entitled "The knowledge-gap hypothesis (published in the Annals of the International Communication Association). She defended her PhD Thesis on multilingual automated content analysis in June 2021 .
