Ruta Kaskeleviciute is a researcher (currently postdoctoral) in the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna since August 2019. She completed her doctoral studies in Communication Science at the University of Vienna's Faculty of Social Sciences in April 2024 with distinction ("summa cum laude"). Prior, she studied journalism and communication science at the University of Vienna, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Helsinki, Finland) and University of Valencia (Spain). Her main research interests include media contents and effects, media psychology, political communication, and empirical methods.
