Darian Harff is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna since July 2024. His main research interests are political communication and media psychology. He has specifically built expertise on social media influencers as sources of political information. He also explores the role and relevance of other (social) media personalities in the news environments and diets of adolescents and young adults. Additionally, he investigates how specific forms of communication—such as populist communication or misinformation—impact the political attitudes and behaviors of (young) people.
