Kim Löhmann studied Communication Science (MSc, 2022) at the University of Vienna. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies and English-Speaking Cultures at the University of Bremen in Germany. Since April 2021, she supports Folker Hanusch as a research assistant in his FWF funded research project "Journalism under duress", which is a part of the cross-national collaborative research project, the Worlds of Journalism Study, which studies journalism culture in more than 60 countries.
In Bremen, she worked as a freelance lifestyle journalist and was in her studies mainly focused on "Mediatization", "Journalism Studies," and "Digital Transformation".
