NORFACE: Sophie Lecheler new Scientific Program Coordinator

08.02.2021

Since February 1, Sophie Lecheler acts as coordinator for the NORFACE program "Democratic Governance in a Turbulent Age".

To fulfill her duty as scientific coordinator, the NORFACE network has awarded Sophie an additional grant. Within the transnational ERA-NET cofund research program "Democratic Governance in a Turbulent Age", a total of 14 projects receive funding, including Sophie's own research project "DATADRIVEN". The Scientific Program Coordinator "will have the exciting task of bringing the various research teams together to work synergistically, but also to communicate activities, results and successes of the projects and programme to the academic and non-academic community and to promote capacity-building and networking in the programme."*

At our department, Sophie will be supported by Jana Laura Egelhofer, who will be the project's assistant coordinator, and Ming Boyer. The team will work closely with the staff involved in DATADRIVEN, which includes Jörg Matthes, Sophie Minihold, Selina Noetzel & Marlis Stubenvoll. The project will run until May 2024.
