Despite being accepted into the SSCI database very recently, Communication Methods & Measures is already listed as a Q1 journal, with a 2018 Impact factor of 2.306 and ranked as 20/88 in the area of Communication Science.
The Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) is a product of Clarivate Analytics and covers approx. 3.000 of the leading academic journals in the social sciences across all disciplines.
Communication Methods & Measures, published by Taylor & Francis and edited by Professor Matthes, is the only methods journal in the field of communication. It is affiliated with the Communication Theory & Methodology Division (CT&M) of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC). CM&M was first published in 2007 and features four issues per year. Professor Matthes serves as the editor-in-chief since January 2016, after supporting the journal as associate editor from 2010-2015.
