Wolfgang Weitzl new Assistant Professor at Seeburg Castle University

On September 1, he will take up a post as Assistant Professor of Marketing.

We are very happy to announce that Wolfgang Weitzl will be Assistant Professor of Marketing at Seeburg Castle University (Privatuniversität Schloss Seeburg), starting September 1, 2019. This tenured position includes the option to become a full professor within 2-3 years.

Wolfgang joined our department in 2015 and since held a post doc position, working within Professor Sabine Einwiller's Corporate Communication Resarch Group (CCOM). Prior to that, he was a research and teaching associate at the Department of Marketing of the University of Vienna (Ph.D. in Management/Consumer Behavior: 2014) as well as assistant professor at the Institute for Retailing and Marketing at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Established in 2007, Seeburg Castle University now is the largest privately-funded university in Austria focussing on business and economics, with over 800 students conducting their studies either at the headquarters in Seekirchen am Wallersee or at Seestadt Aspern (Vienna). Main research interests include relationship marketing, service marketing, consumer behavior and consumer psychology, while the teaching foci are research methods, statistics, marketing and marketing research.
