On May 24, the Board of Trustees of the Academy of Europe ("Academia Europaea") honored 470 renowned international scholars, including Sophie Lecheler, by awarding membership to its organization. By doing so, Academia Europaea recognized Professor Lecheler's outstanding work and impact within our research field and beyond.
The Academy of Europe is an international, non-governmental association of individual scientists and scholars. It was founded in 1988, and currently counts around 6.000 members across all scientific disciplines.
