We are very happy to announce that Jens was offered the position as a Full Professor at the Institute for Communication Management and Media – a subunit of the Department of Foreign Language Business Communication – and will therefore join the Vienna University of Economics and Business from September 1, 2020. Aside from continuing his research on trust, digital communication and strategic communication, he will plan and coordinate a new master program in Business Communication, scheduled to start in fall 2022.

Jens joined our department in February 2015 and since held a postdoc position, working within Sabine Einwiller's Corporate Communication Research Group (CCOM). Prior to that, he was a predoctoral researcher at the Department of Media and Communication Research at the University of Leipzig (PhD: 2014) from 2009-2014. During his PhD research, he spent one semester as visiting scholar at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, USA.

The Vienna University of Economics and Business is the largest Austrian research institution focussing on business and economics, with over 21.000 students, 2.500 employees and (currently) 62 departments contributing to its success and excellent international reputation. Its modern campus is located in the 2nd Viennese district in the neighborhood of the "Wiener Prater".
