Bachelor
The Bachelor’s program in Mass Media and Communication Science is taught in German and provides key qualifications for careers in media and communication. It offers a solid academic foundation for professional practice and further studies within the field.
Master (MA)
The Master’s program in Journalism and Communication Studies in German builds on the Bachelor’s degree and provides advanced academic training. It prepares students for independent research as well as leadership positions in communication-related professions.
Master (MSc)
The Master’s program in Communication Science is an English-taught, research-oriented degree program. It provides advanced theoretical and methodological knowledge of communication processes at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Doctoral Studies
The Doctoral Program in Social Sciences offers the opportunity to pursue dissertation projects in Journalism and Communication Studies. It is a research-oriented program that combines individual supervision with integration into the Vienna Doctoral School of Social Sciences.
