• Coordination and support: Journalism Studies Center (Professor Folker Hanusch) and the Media Change and Innovation Lab (Professor Desirée Schmuck)

Budget and project planning

• Department budget
• Preparation and processing of target agreements ("Zielvereinbarungen") and settlements (including SAP, travel expenses)
• Contact point for all financial questions
• Administrative coordination of currently-running projects (funded by the Austrian Science Fund)

HR and department administration

• First level support for all department employees with regards to time management and HR processes
• Webmaster (Department website)
