Franz Bogner Science Award 2019

Three graduates of our Master program were awarded this year's Franz Bogner Science Award for PR.

In the category "Master theses at universities", the award generally honors outstanding MA theses dealing with Public Relations. This year, three theses supervised at our department by Sabine Einwiller and Petra Herczeg were granted the award and, additionally, prize money.

The top-rated thesis (1st prize) was written by Julia Martinshausen (Supervision: Sabine Einwiller) and entitled "Response strategies in the case of online paracrises and how stakeholders perceive them – A qualitative content analysis". The 2nd prize went to Mario Koren for his work on "Agility in the context of corporate communication", also supervised by Sabine Einwiller. Furthermore, Philip-Sebastian Marchl received the 3rd prize for his thesis "The Power of images: A comparison of the staging of Barack Obama's political iconography with Anglo-American CEOs". Petra Herczeg provided the supervision for this thesis.
