During the currently on-going 2021 annual conference of the International Communication Association (ICA), the Health Communication Divisions of the ICA as well as the National Communication Association (NCA) have honored Alice with the 2021 Abby Prestin Dissertation of the Year Award for her outstanding cumulative dissertation entitled The influence of healthy food placements within children's movies.
