In the category Master Theses at Universities, two graduates of our department received a 1st place award: Raphaela Stibor was honored for her thesis on Transparent Leadership and Interactional Justice in CEO-Communication: The Impact on Psychological Safety and Employee Voice during Organizational Change, while Larissa Middelkoop's work titled Gemeinsam engagiert: Der Einfluss von NGO-Kooperationen auf die Wirkung von Corporate Social Advocacy received the same accolade. Further, the prize for 3rd place went to Julia Deweis for her thesis Storytelling von Hilfsorganisationen. Eine Untersuchung zum Wirkungspotenzial narrativer Spendenaufrufe am Beispiel der Caritas Wien.
Franz Bogner Science Award for PR 2025
Five recent graduates of our MA and BA programs supervised by Sabine Einwiller were each awarded one of this year's Franz Bogner Science Awards for PR.
The category Bachelor Theses was also dominated by theses written under the umbrella of our department, and supervised by Sabine Einwiller. Hannah Rund received the 1st prize for her BA thesis entitled Image Repair in der politischen PR: Donald Trumps Strategien in sozialen Medien als Reaktion auf Vorwürfe während des US-Präsidentschaftswahlkampfs 2024. The prize for the 2nd place was awarded to Emilia Ladisich, whose thesis dealt with Warum die Wiener Linien während dem Hochwasser im September 2024 einen Candystorm erfuhren.
