Cornelia Duregger is a university assistant (pre doc) at the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna, with a focus on media impact research, which she investigates using physiological methods. She completed her master's degree in psychology at the University of Vienna in 2003 with an EEG in the field of motor CNV. She has worked at the Ludwig Boltzman Institute for Functional Brain Topography, at the ENT of the Medical University of Vienna, at the Howard Florey Institute Melbourne, at the Sleep Laboratory of the Hospital Barmherzige Brüder Wien and at the University of Newcastle (NSW). She has worked with various electrophysiological, physiological and imaging methods in the fields of motor skills, self-consciousness, sleep and media effects research.
