Summary: This is a collaborative project funded through the EU’s 7th Framework Program. I worked within Work Package 4
"Journalistic ethics and work practices in conflict societies" investigating ethical orientations, role perceptions and working practices of journalists in democratisation conflicts across four countries: Egypt, Kenya, Serbia, South Africa.

Summary: Here I managed and co-investigated projects exploring representations of masculinity in South African print media, prevalence of gender discrimination and sexual harassment in Zimbabwe’s newsrooms, media coverage of HIV/Aids, and broader issues around gender and children's rights.
